Description | Black rectangular stick of ink with gold chinese characters impressed on one side and gold tree branch and green chinese characters impressed on the other side. Broken in half. Lacquered cylindrical box with lid. Inside and outside are lacquered in black with gold designs on swirling patterns and circles on out side and top of box. Bottom has label with Burmese script on it. Probably mid-20th century. Made in Pagan. |
