Description | Muzzle loading Musket/Long Rifle - "Kabyle Camel gun" / "Makhala" or "Mekhala". Long narrow steel barrel, covered by two pieces of wood held by engraved silver barrel rings. Steel ramrod in place under barrel. Steel snaphaunce firing mechanism - flint missing. Trigger and shaft have cutout metal design detailed with red paint. Coin with date 1299 (AH) hanging from trigger. "Altit" style wood stock with metal and ivory ornamentation. |
