Description | Woven cotton and silk huipil (blouse) of red ground with red, yellow and lavender stripes. Made of two pieces with randa, elaborate shoulder band of stylized animals and double headed eagles in lavender cotton and yellow white deep rose green and purple silk, purple silk thread- purpura dye, red cotton thread- madder dye [Robert Carlsen 1984]. |
