Description

Eagle on alter (?). Brownish black patina is very rubbed. Hollowed base was filled with a substance to secure a modern nail. Base is triangular with projecting moldings at top and bottom and a foot at each corner. Feet are widespread. Feathers on its breast and wings are marked by lunate grooves.
